Niagara's student nutrition program
Bigger than breakfast.
Every school day we serve over 30,000 meals to Niagara kids, helping them eat well, learn better, and grow into who they're meant to be. No labels, no barriers, just good food and a warm place to start the day.

The scale of impact
Real impact. Real kids. Real change.
We're in every Niagara school, every single day. That's all four boards and twenty communities, from Grimsby to Fort Erie.
Our mission
Every child in Niagara deserves to eat, learn and succeed.
One universal program. Open to every student, in every community, across all four school boards.
Universal & dignified
No sign-up and no stigma. Childhood hunger isn't only about income, and every student is welcome at the table.
A safe, welcoming space
It's more than a meal. A calm start to the day, a place to belong, and a chance to get to know your teachers.
Local, fresh & balanced
Farm-to-school apples from DeVries Fruit Farm and Ministry-approved meals, with fruit, grains and protein every day.
Why it matters
Three little words.
One big difference.
A good meal is where it starts, but the ripple reaches far beyond the breakfast table.
A nourishing breakfast, snack or lunch every school day, no questions asked.
Full stomachs mean sharper focus and more hands in the air.
Kids who feel cared for show up ready to thrive, in school and in life.
Watch our story
See what a good morning looks like.
Hunger is invisible. Connection isn't. Hear from the kids, volunteers and schools who make every morning count.
What we do
Breakfast, lunch, snacks & more.
Every program flexes to fit its school, and follows Ministry nutrition guidelines.

Lunch
A balanced hot or packed lunch to power the afternoon, in 12 programs.
Culinary classes & our student Cook-Off
It's about more than meals. Students learn to cook, plan and lead, then put it all on the line in our annual Breakfast Gala Cook-Off competition.
It's nice that everybody has food at school because you never know when someone's hungry.

It takes a community to feed one.
