Ham Avocado Grilled Cheese Dippers

Serves: 20 
Serving size: 1 dipper 

Ingredients:

  • 20 slices of country harvest whole grain bread
  • 20 slices of Cheddar Cheese
  • 2.5 avocados
  • 10 slices of ham, chopped
  • 10 mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil 

Directions:

  1. Roll out each slice of bread using a rolling pin so that they appear thin.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on each bread slice and top with smashed avocado, ham crumbles, and mushroom pieces.
  3. Tightly roll each slice of bread. Use toothpicks to keep them from unraveling if needed. (once the cheese melts they will hold together)
  4. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add dippers to the pan and brown each side of the rolls until the cheese melts on the inside.
  5. Serve with soup or dip! (Healthy dip could be a tzatziki using Greek yogurt)
